About
Mark Bowness has been featured in media around the World for the work that he has developed through People Passion Planet.
In 2005 Mark Bowness created the concept Tribewanted and in doing so launched Worldwide business. A 200 acre island in Fiji was leased and over 1300 people signed up from over 27 Countries. Tribewanted was filmed during it’s initial 18 months and received a prime time commission from BBC2 as a 5 x 1 hour programme called ‘Paradise or Bust’. Alongside the TV programme entitled ‘tribewanted’ has been published through International publishing company, Random House.
Tribewanted changed lives, both the media and tribe members were saying so! Positive comments followed: The Sunday Times “A unique social experiment and one that could revolutionise tourism” to tribe members inspired statements, “It is better than I could possibly have expected. This is a once in a lifetime experience”.
As the worldwide media followed the story of Tribewanted there was as equal interest in Mark Bowness as an individual who creates unique, passionate and relevant projects. Mark had to make a difficult decision whether to move to Fiji or to grasp an opportunity to develop a business which would impact society at large – this was an opportunity that Mark grasped as he sent his sister to work on his behalf on a beautiful island in Fiji!
Mark Bowness went on to develop People Passion Planet, a unique consultancy which advises individuals, companies and charities on how to develop their own specific brands and concepts with the intention of getting media coverage, utilising the power of cross multi-media platforms (i.e. TV, internet, radio and press) and ultimately inspiring people change lives.
Mark Bowness has a vision not simply to make money but to equally positively impact one million lives and he seeks to achieve this by working with entrepreneurs, businesses, charities and individuals.
Mark Bowness’ work had already resulted in:
