Next Internet Millionaire is an interesting move in reality-business programming, well, I say programming, it is going to purely be a TV based programme.

Joel Comm and Eric Holmlund had come up with the idea of a business based reality TV show, a few months later they decided that the best way forward was to take it purely online as they look to find the next internet millionaire. Joel is a business guru who whose desire is to reach the masses with the money making power of the internet.

This online programme is all about 12 contestants who will receive an all expenses paid trip to learn from the masters of marketing while they compete for cash, prizes, and the ultimate joine venture with Joel Comm.

This is potentially quite a cool concept, but, I imagine it will need the power of the viral word of mouth in order to get serious ratings. I will certainly be taking a peak, the first show starts today!

My poor blog feels neglected right now and I have even had a few e-mails wondering whether I am alive, if I am still in existance! Well, yes, I am!

There has been a lot going on at People. Passion. Planet. with the development of existing projects, the launch of a new project and some new clients. This has all led to a very busy few weeks for me, but all positive, all about growth and all about learning which is highly exciting.

Some new blogs are on their way… promise!

I was in our local City newspaper this weekend, the Liverpool Echo. I have been promoted to one of the ‘Officers’ of a group set up on facebook which is a petition to have a Liverpool Facebook Network as currently Liverpool’s nearest network is Manchester, which is just plain silly!

I got a call from a journalist last week asking me to give my thoughts with regards to why Facebook should have a Liverpool network and the story was published on Saturday… all good fun!

There was MUCH excitement in the People. Passion. Planet. HQ this afternoon… here is the story…

You may remember the British TV programme, Tycoon, which aired last month. Peter Jones, mostly popular for his role on Dragon’s Den, created his own TV programme of which the aim was for him to put his own money into a number of newly launched companies and offer the owners a number of challenges in order to see the winner become the Tycoon.

The final programme went out live and all was at stake with the winner walking away with the profits that all the other entrants had made. The winner was to be voted on by the viewers and the outstanding winner was Iain Morgan with his helicopter, the company is Bladez Toyz.

There was a further competition whereby the viewers of the programme could win shares in the Bladez Toyz company, by answering one simple question… well… I received an e-mail this afternoon to state that I was one of the winners who wins a share in this company… from what I can tell I get one share in the company.. ohh.. things are about to get much busier… I need to hire a PA!
