Mark Bowness loves The Bubble Project

One of the Executive Producers of ‘Have You Got The Nerve? TV has recently pointed me to The Bubble Project. This project saw 30,000 bubble stickers placed on adverts on billboards across New York, enabling members of the public to write anything they wanted to in these bubbles. Later the results were photographed.
This is a fantastic project which, in terms of marketing, raises the profile of these specific adverts by drawing the attention of passers by in a unique way. Not only this, it is a great interactive project, enabling members of the public to get involved. It was also the case that many of the comment that were written in the bubbles were very funny, further drawing attention to the adverts.
Empowering members of the public to interact with corporate multimedia is increasingly becoming very popular and gives the people more power. I am well excited about it!

Mark Bowness loves Pen Paper Pause (Pass it on)…
Filed Under The ramblings of a creative consultant | 4 Comments
I received a parcel this week, a parcel from someone who I have shared eight years of my life with, a Mr Rich Watkins and in that parcel was a piece of creativity which had me transfixed and thinking for ages and now I want to pass that on…
You see, my friend Rich is an artists, he is also a thinker and those two combined results in creativity artistry which gets your mind racing, it certainly did mine. Rich has a website called Pen. Paper. (Pause) where he regularly uploads drawings which he has scribbled, drawings about the World and the society around us which make you think.
As Rich has developed this website it seems that he wants to get people thinking and so he has launched Pass it on. He has put his images together in a book and has created 100 of these books. Once you have read the book (and undoubtedly been challenged and inspired) you then pass it on, not before you have stated in the book who you are sending it too and why.

Rich Watkins: One of his drawings featured in Pen Paper Pause.
I love this idea. I really do. One guy, who is creative, who has a vision to get people thinking is doing something about it, in a very creative way. The pass it on book will hopefully be forwarded to many people, who will get a lot out of it.
Ok, so I got a copy of the Pass it on book and now, as the name suggests, I have to pass it on. Whilst I could give it to my friends I thought, why not tell anyone reading my websites about the idea. So, the first person to e-mail me, from anywhere in the world on mark@peoplepassionplanet.com sending me their address will receive pass it on in the post.
However, do not forget, when you have read it, pass it on!
