Many thanks for your e-mail which I received at roughly 11pm Saturday night. As you did not state your name or your e-mail address I thought it would be best to reply on my blog.

Your message consisted of the following:

“i can see you are up to your old tricks again its jem here………..i need to stop this before its starts mark james or is it mark bowness? i need to bring another report out again..”

As soon as I received your e-mail I forwarded it to an individual who I have made communication with which started a few months ago, Jem Matzan, author of the Jem report which you speak about.

Jem’s response to your anonymous e-mail was as follows:

“Not me. I virtually never leave comments on blogs, even anonymously. I also would have capitalized my own name. And now that I have an email address for you, if I were going to write something about you, I’d certainly at least ask for comments. In fact, I hereby promise that if I ever write anything about you, your work, or Tribewanted — an extremely unlikely scenario — I’ll get in touch with you before it publishes.

Most likely it’s someone who thinks they can scare you. Same old people up to the same old tricks.”

So clearly you are not the Jem that you speak about. However, the real Jem Matzan added a hint of wisdom in his last sentence, which I assume is pretty much accurate.

Therefore, anonymous e-mailer, I would suggest that you put your effort and energy into fulfilling your own dreams rather than seeking to undermind someone elses.

Mark James Bowness.
