Over the past week I have been in London, Manchester and Liverpool as I have travelled the Country discussing the Liverpool Culture Cafe concept with a number of TV Production companies with a view to the concept being filmed as an observation documentary. It has been a very exciting few days!
Having created the concept Tribewanted I was contacted by a number of tv production companies with regards to what other ideas that I may have and I have been working hard on these. One of these projects has been taken by a production company and is due to launch next year. I have also been working on the capital of culture concept. It has been quite exciting to see how TV Production companies have responded to the Liverpool Culture Cafe project and there is a real buzz about this in terms of how it intergrates culture, community and society - three elements of life that I strongly believe in.
Today I had a meeting with Lime Pictures (formerly Mersey TV), which was very exciting and highly random to be walking around the set of both Hollyoaks and Grange Hill at the same time. It was even more random to see children walk around wearing Grange Hill blazers - that took me back!
So, there are LOTS of things in the pipeline with regards to the Liverpool Culture Cafe and it may even be on TV - I shall keep you updated!
