It was great to be informed by Ben Keene (co-founder of tribewanted) last night that the web team behind tribewanted, Komodo, have won two prestigious DADI Awards. DADI stands for Drum Awards for Digital Industries and Komodo and Tribewanted won the category of Most Innovative Project and Komodo won the Daddy of all Awards, The Grand Prix Award, for their design of tribewanted.
The Komodo Team who put together the tribewanted website have done an incredible job with much of the online community side of the project not even visible to the outside world - however, it is excellent stuff and Komodo have done a great job winning these awards for Tribewanted.
It is both humbling and exciting to see that a project that started in your head, comes to life and now starts winning awards. It is also fantastic to see the team who were around you from the beginning win awards for their work on the project too - we picked an awesome team! There are certainly even bigger things ahead for tribewanted and I am very proud of the possibilities and potential.
Once again, congratulations to Komodo for their award winning work, which has made the tribewanted site incredibly unique.
